As an impact investor, the most important question you have is whether your investee is actually making the impact they aim for. Typically you will ask your investee to regularly report on a number of indicators, such as co2 emissions saved or number of clients reached. But how do you get the stories behind those numbers, how do you know how the lives of the end users are really impacted?
