13. (SIBs) Revolution in the Welfare Service Delivery
There have been over 100 SIBs programs launched globally with varying degree of impact. Stakeholders engage in this idea despite significant technical burdens and offer it as an ideology-free response to a whole range of social problems. Are the SIBs as mechanism over-estimated? Maybe it is the approach of welfare service delivery that is really revolutionary? The session will challenge SIB as an approach more than the technical side of it.
Speakers: Ruben Koekoek from Social Finance NL (NL); Bastian Müller from Yunus SOcial Business (DE); Felipe Almeida from Inovacao Social Portugal (PT); Jane Newman from Social Finance UK (UK); Johan van den Elzen from Start Foundation NL (NL)
